Croftthorn Bulldogs

Bryan would like to welcome you to Croftthorn Bulldogs. We are a small kennel located near Pontypridd in South Wales specialising in Bulldogs that we show on the championship show circuit. We have had great success winning Bulldog of the year, Best in show British Championship show, Best in show The Bulldog club of Wales, 2011 Reserve Best in show 2012. All of our dogs (seven at present) live with us and are raised as family pets in a loving environment which we believe is an important factor in nurturing their wonderful temperament and behaviour.

Our name ‘Croftthorn’ comes from a combination of the name of our home, ‘the Croft’ and part of the name of the village where we reside, ‘Hawthorn’.

Bulldogs are extremely docile, friendly and sociable creatures and have an excellent temperament. Due to their friendly nature, Bulldogs are known for getting along well with children, others dogs and pets.

Here at Croftthorn, we aim to breed high quality Bulldogs where the well-being of our animals themselves always takes priority; after all, they are all very important members of our family.

A few years ago we visited Croftthorn to speak to Bryan about buying a bulldog puppy. This was a difficult time as we had just lost a dear family pet. Bryan showed patience and understanding and we were introduced to our own little Brian the bulldog! Brian was soon followed by Darcy and our family was complete. In December last year we tried for our first litter of bulldog puppies and Bryan has been amazing. I would recommend croftthorn to anyone thinking of buying or breeding bulldogs. Thanks
